Vanessa           The Boss

Vanessa has been riding and caring for horses for twenty years and has worked on various showjumping yards, livery yards, rescue centres and riding schools as well as having her own horses.  During the day, she works in Brighton dealing with long leasehold property management.

She is responsible for the overall management of the centre and animals, administration, health and safety, and jointly responsible with Martin for rehabilitation and re-training.

Martin has been riding for many years but has become more involved in the care and training of horses since he and Vanessa have been together.  Martin served with the Royal Military Police during the first Gulf War, although his current day-job is somewhat more mundane as he works as a Driver Technician for a firm supplying medical equipment.

He is responsible for the accounts, public relations and fundraising, as well as rehabilitating and re-training

Gordon has always been involved with horses whether he wanted to or not as Vanessa was a pony-mad child, although his background and trade was in engineering.  Gordon currently spends the day at Brighton Toy & Model Museum (www.brightontoymuseum.co.uk) designing and creating displays, cabinets, shows and general maintenance, amongst other things.

Gordon is responsible for repairs and maintenance of buildings, machinery, equipment, fields, woods, ponds, grazing and for ‘making things’!
